The Liptovsky Mikulas city is admistrative, economic and cultural center in the middle Liptov. The Liptov is name of the part of the north Slovakia. In this area is also a lot of attractions, a beautiful nature, the beauty of caves, thermal swimming-pools, artificial lake Liptovská Mara, archeological museum in the nature, ruins of castles, monuments made of folk architecture, muzeums, galleries, simple alive folklor. There are many possibilities for touristic, water sports, bicycletouristic and winter sports. This is the main reason for tousands invitors. With the increasement of number of invitors, possibilities of accomodation are also increase, restarant services are also inprooving, creating new fitness and squash centres, saunas, solaries centres and pubs.
So exactly in this „heart of Liptov” is situated our village Dúbrava, where Liptovský Mikuláš is the main region city. Dúbrava is only 12 kilometers westerly from this centre, 10 minutes by car.

GINO Paradise Bešeňová (12 km)
Here are 18 bathing pools,that are open year round. The geo-thermal springs reach a temperature of up to 61°C. The temperature of the water in the pools is 36-40°C and wells up from a depth of 1,987 m. It has beneficial effects on the kinetic and breathing systems, urologic problems and has favourable cosmetic effects.
Aquapark TATRALANDIA (15 km)
Tatralandia Holiday Resort is the largest year-round water fun complex with accommodation in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. It is situated in Liptov region – region with plenty of cultural sights, typical folk culture and folklore, surrounded by the highest mountains in Slovakia – High and Low Tatras, Veľká Fatra (Great Fatra), Malá Fatra (Small Fatra) and Choč Mountains.
Termal Raj Liptovský Ján (20 km)
Liptovský Ján lies on the foothills of the Low Tatras. To the south of the village is the area of summer thermal bathing pools and in-door swimming pool, a 50 m pool, 2 kids‘ pools, and 1 pool for lazing in that uses the Rudolf spring, the waters of which are 28.2 °C.
Aqua Vital Lúčky (16 km)
The spa in Lúčky are located on the borders of the Orava, Liptov and Choč ranges of peaks. The healing waters work in particular on gynaecological illnesses, post-operative cases and the psyche. The spring water reaches 32 °C.

Nízke Tatry (20 km)
The Low Tatras are the second most visited mountains in Slovakia (after the High Tatras). A large number of new hotels, camping sites, ski lifts and other tourist services arose in this region in the last years. Despite this fact, real primeval forests with a lot of wild animals (including bears) still exist especially in the eastern part of the Low Tatras, in the area between Čertovica and Kráľova hoľa.
Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa (20 km)
It is 1,975 m long and the ice formations are to be found in the lower parts of the cave where we can see ice floors, ice columns, stalactites and stalagmites. A find was made of the bones of a cave bear (Ursus spelaeus) and other vertebrates, which in the first half of the 18th century were believed to be the bones of a dragon.
Demänovská jaskyňa slobody (20 km)
Found in the National Nature Reservation of Demänovská Valley in the Low Tatra National Park. It was created in the complex of limestone rocks by the subterranean waters of the Demänovky in four stages of development where the mouths of the steeper corridors were formed by the waters of side streams. The cave system is 8, 126 m long.
Stanisovská Jaskyňa (25 km)
The only year round accessible cave in Liptov, open every day. You experience the ultimate experience in discovering the magic underground with guides – speleologists. You will walk along the walls, the water and Mother Nature modeled in indescribable shapes. Headlamps each visitor receives before entering, special clothing or shoes do not need. Demänovská dolina (20 km)
Demänovská Valley is the most famous and the most visited valley in the Low Tatras. It is 15 km long and is the main tourist centre in the northern side of the Low Tatras ridge. Geographically and geologically it consists of two different parts: the upper part is closer to the main Low Tatras ridge. It consists of granite and creates a huge complex of valleys. The lower part consists of limestone and is very rangy. The upper part looks like a quadrangle with four peaks: Siná (1560 m).

Vlkolínec (27 km)
Since 1977, the wooden village of Vlkolínec has been a conservation area of folk countryside architecture which in December 1993 was listed as a UNESCO Natural and Cultural Heritage site. Originally, it was established as a settlement of woodsmen or coalmen. Vlkolínec is the only village in Slovakia that is not disturbed by new construction.
Havránok (10 km)
This is an archeological site near Havránok on the top of Úložisko by the reservoir of Liptovská Mara. A settlement from the early Iron Age (300-100 BC) was discovered here. At the present time a reconstruction of part of the Celtic settlement of Kotínov complete with a sacrifical altar from the 1st century BC is being carried out.
Obec Východná (30 km)
The village of Východná is located 14 km to the east of Liptovský Hrádok in the Liptov basin. Preserved folk architecture log houses, hay lofts and the setting for the ethnologic festival, all with the backdrop of the peak Kriváň. Every year on the first weekend in July, the worldwide known folk festival and display of folk traditions is held.
Artikulárny ev.kostol Svätý Kríž (5 km)
Drewniany artykularny ewangelicki a. w. kościół w Svätom Kríži należy między największe drewniane budynki – kościoty w Europie. Oprócz materiału budowlanego, którym jest prawie wyłącznie drewno, wyróżnia się swoim ogromem, wewnętrzną ozdobą, rozległością i kształtem do krzyża. Do niego nieodłącznie należy i przyrodnia krainna panorama Nizkich i Wysokich Tatr.

Liptovská Mara (20 km)
Liptovská Mara is the best known recreation centre that attracts thousands of visitors every year. Bathing, windsurfing, yachting, take windsurfing lessons, rowing, water bicycles, minigolf, fishing, or take a cruise on the 80 seater sightseeing boat Liptov – all of these activities can be arranged at the campsite in Liptovský Trnovec on the northern shore of the reservoir.
Kart Centrum Liptov (10 km)
Kart Center Liptov is motokart hall with the greatest length of track in central Slovakia. There is lot of entertainment for the entire family, friends or eager individuals. For kids they have prepared children’s karts.

Hurricane Factory Tatralandia (15 km)
Hurricane Factory is a unique adrenaline attraction. It simulates freefall, which you can experience as in jump from an airplane or cliff, but without the sense of fear and discomfort of altitude. It consists of a unique wind tunnel with a circular glass flight chamber. It has a diameter of 4.3m and an overall height of an unbelievable 14m.
